Connect Wallet.

The Connect Wallet button will enable to you to connect your blockchain wallet to the Investor Dashboard. We currently only offer support for self-custody blockchain wallets created through Metamask. You can create a Metamask wallet by first downloading and installing metamask and then creating a new wallet on the  Google Chrome browser on Desktop. Please note you must have completed your investor profile before the dashboard becomes available to you and you can connect your wallet.


To connect your wallet, first download and install Metamask. Here are the steps: 

Step 1: The first thing you'll want to do is visit https://metamask.io/ and click Download.

Step 2: Install Metamask for Chrome.

 

Step 3: Metamask is available as a Chrome extension for adding to the browser. Add Metamask to Chrome.  

Step 4: Click "Add extension" to confirm permissions for Metamask for installation.. 

Step 5: After you confirm, Metamask will be installed to Chrome. Once installed, the extension should take you to a page like this. 

Step 6: The extension is accessible in the top right corner with the puzzle piece icon, if you click that, you can click the pin to make it easier to find. 

Step 7: After you pin the extension, you'll see it in the top right of your browser here. 

Step 8: Create Your Wallet

Now that you installed MetaMask, you have the browser extension. You're now ready to create your wallet or import your existing wallet. You'll get to a page that looks like this. If this is your first time creating a wallet, you'll select "Create a Wallet."

On the next step you can choose whether you prefer Metamask to collect analytics or not at your option.

Then, you'll create a password. This will unlock the MetaMask extension on your computer. Type in your password and click "Create."

Metamask will take you to an informational video with how MetaMask works explaining your key. It is highly recommended that you watch this video and follow instructions as provided by Metamask.

Step 8: Back Up the Secret Recovery Phrase

This is a very important step! Next, you'll be presented with your Secrete Backup Phrase. This may also go by other names, like recovery phrase, or wallet seed phrase. This is your super secret password which provides access to your wallet. If you lose this phrase, you lose access to your tokens. If someone else gets this phrase, they get access to your wallet.

Click to reveal the secret words. This is a 12 word phrase.

You need to back up this phrase; you might use a password manager to store the phrase. After you back it up, it will confirm that you have it backed up by testing it on the next screen. Once it is backed up, MetaMask will give you some security tips, which you should carefully follow.

Step 9: Find Your Wallet Address

Once you have your wallet set up, you can find your Ethereum address. You can open your wallet by clicking the fox icon in the top right corner and that will open your wallet. Then, if you click the letters and numbers that start with "0x...." and copy that -- that is your address. You can also click the three dots to view "Account Details" or click "View on Etherscan."

Now you have a wallet set up that you can use, and interact with Ethereum!


Step 10: Connect Your Wallet to Investor Dashboard

Log in to Dhan's Investor Dashboard (investor.mydhan.io). Log in to your account with your Metamask Wallet password, if you aren't already logged in. Then, select the account which you would like to connect to the Investor Dashboard for interaction.


After following the steps to download and install Metamask, you'll be able to connect your wallet on the My Dhan website. 

Please follow the next steps to be able to connect your wallet.

Step 1: Click on Connect Wallet.

Step 2: Your wallet address will be listed in the Investor Dashboard upon successful connection.

Step 3: Submit Wallet for Token Transfer Whitelisting

You must submit wallet for token transfer whitelisting before making any retail or security token purchase through the Active Projects page.

You can do this by selecting Wallet Management in the side menu on a Desktop with Chrome.

Step 4: To complete this process, select the token for which you'd like your wallet to be whitelisted. Then, click the Add Address button below your listed wallet address.

Step 5: Once your wallet has been submitted for whitelisting for that particular token, Dhan's admin team will whitelist your wallet address within 1-2 hours upon approval. 

You will need to repeat this process for every token you'd like to receive in your wallet.

Once you've submitted your wallet for whitelisting for the tokens you're interested in, you can proceed to the Active Projects page in the side menu to explore our offerings and making token purchases!
